The Benefits of Gold, with the Performance of Silver

MAM-A's Silver Plus DVD-R Gold features two reflective layers, one of pure silver plus a second made of 24 kt gold. This disc is a bulk version of the Silver Plus Gold packed in 50 pack cake box. This item is only available in case quantities of 200 discs (four packs of 50 discs). It has MAM-A's exclusive FlexPrint surface, which is compatible with inkjet printers (Primera, Epson, Microboards & Rimage) as well as Rimage *Prism and Everest printers (*Prism strobe setting is recommended at 500-550). The pure silver layer provides high reflectivity and great drive compatibility, while the gold layer provides protection against environmental corrosion. This combination extends longevity to 83 years, compared to standard silver discs that oxidize.

Diamond Guard - Recording Side Hard Coat Scratch Protection

To protect against scratches, finger prints, and everyday handling, we apply a special protective coating called the Diamond Guard to the recording side of the disc. The Diamond Guard is the hardest scratch resistant material in the industry, with a hardness rating of 5H.
